Terra Vito Clothing

A Clothing Design company, created by two Graphic Design Students, please feel free to give us feedback.
I definitely second what Tom said, we have both been so bogged down with all our uni applications (portfolios, travelling, blood, sweat, and tears) that we have unwillingly had to push this project, and you lovely people, aside.

New things though! I’m really happy with how this turned out, it was inspired by the work of Shepard Fairey (OBEY) because I really admire his work, style, and method of visual communication.

A big sorry to everyone that we haven’t been uploading for a while, but i think i can speak for both of us when I say that we have been so busy with Uni interviews and so on.
Anyway i thought i would share this new t shirt design, which is a nod towards the likes of Hydro 74 and illustrators such as Mathew Skiff, hope you enjoy and feed back welcome

An update on the bear illustration, this could be a possible outcome let me know what you think? please…?
I may do a couple more and upload them before i choose a final design

After some consideration i dislike the text and text bubble so this will be re done before i proceed to make a t shirt with this design on.

For many of the people out their who like zombies, which i hop is everyone, i shall be creating a zombie tee pretty soon…. Keep your eyes pinned in the upright position and your mouse clicking fingers at the ready!!

General Update and Some Words.

Many eagle eyed people will have probably noticed that our posts have slowed down a little bit since starting the blog. We have no excuse. We are, however, both currently being bombarded with college work deadlines, personal statement drafting and re-drafting, and other such future related nonseccities (nonsense + necessities). Juggling all these things has led to Terra Vito being pushed back a little due to our priorities currently residing in other places. But FEAR NOT followers, we have set some time aside at the weekend to get some solid hours of work done, expect to be smothered by a veritable cornucopia of visual cacophony. We might even shoot a little video too..

And so, After a longggggg week of writing about motionsensoruserinputmenuoptionselectioninter-shit, I can already feel the creative juices flowing to the brim, belatedly bereft of bursting forth onto the page or screen. This weekend, our design debauchery will disperse its demanding disposition into dozens of ideas and deliberations, accumulating all at once into this small outlet of digital distribution.

P.s That basically said ‘we’ve been busy but now were going to make some pictures.’

PINKYVISION

Big fan of Pinky’s art work. If you have never seen any of his work, then I would highly reccomend having a flick through his website: www.pinkyvision.com

There are two main things that inspire me about him, the fact that he is a great model success story for a self-made career in Graphic Design and illustration, and the way he has managed to create such a unique, distinctive identity without and explicit use of branding.

·         Anamorphic Typography
An exploration of the potential and existing relationship between architecture and typography by Joseph Egan, Hunter Thomson.

At the first glance, Anamorphic Typography might look like just some random lines painted on the walls, but as you walk by and change the perspective, it starts to form letters. When you’re in the right position, the letters clearly pop out of the walls. Personally, I think property owners should start letting architects and designers be more free with their designs. The feeling you get when you see something that intentional but unexpected is awesome.

Looked at this stuff for a typography brief, awesome
